Few subjects have inspired as much fascination, devotion, misunderstanding, and controversy as non-duality. Across spiritual traditions, contemporary teachings, psychology, and philosophy, it appears in many different forms, each claiming to point beyond the ordinary experience of self and world.
Nonduality. An Analysis does not ask whether non-duality is ultimately true. Instead, it investigates how non-dual perspectives arise, how they are interpreted, and how they transform lived experience. The book explores classical traditions alongside modern teachers and examines the remarkable diversity hidden behind the seemingly simple claim that separation is an illusion.
Using a dioramic approach, non-duality is understood as a family of coherent experiential configurations rather than as a single universal truth. Different teachings illuminate different aspects of experience, while simultaneously shaping distinct worlds of meaning, language, practice, and identity.
The aim is neither to defend nor to dismiss non-duality, but to understand how these extraordinary perspectives emerge, what they reveal, and why they continue to exert such a powerful attraction on those who seek to understand the nature of experience.
